About your prospective employer:
Our company is a successful and well established collision repair facility in Encinitas. Our excellent reputation allows us to work mostly on newer highline cars, and our customers like us--we enjoy an annual CSI of 99.3%. We do not rely on insurance DRPs to supply work, as we believe the vehicle owner is our true customer, and we work with the responsible insurance company on the customer's behalf.
Our office is usually busy, but we try to keep stress levels to a minimum. We enjoy our work, and we want whomever we hire to feel the same way. We also do our best to be kind & considerate to all of our employees.
The office is non-smoking and air-conditioned, and we like to keep it organized and clean. Our computers run Windows XP, have DSL Internet access, and are upgraded regularly. Our Partner phone system also has voice mail, and each employee has their own extension. For comfort, all workstations are ergonomically adjustable to suit individual needs. Bottled water, coffee, a shared refrigerator and microwave are handy as well.

Job Description
As Estimator/Production Manager, we are looking for a person that:
 | Is knowledgeable in the collision repair process. |
| Has experience in using collision repair estimating software (UltraMate & Pathways). |
| Is personable, efficient, conscientious, organized, and proactive. |
| Has the aptitude to solve minor problems without help. |
| Is computer literate, and is familiar with common Windows XP Applications. |
| Likes to learn new tasks, and desires increased responsibilities. |
| Has a safe and readily insurable driving record, as well as access to a dependable car. |
The primary job responsibilities are:
| Greeting, assisting, and conversing with customers and insurance adjusters by phone and in person. |
| Creating computer-generated collision repair estimates. |
| Managing their assigned jobs through the repair process, which would include the following: |
- Ordering parts before and during the repair process.
- Reviewing estimates before, during, and after the repair process.
- Creating supplements if necessary, and updating repair orders.
- Inspection repair jobs before, during, and upon completion including test drives.
| Assisting in all other aspects of the collision repair process that will ensure our customers to continue to be completely satisfied. |
Other less frequently responsibilities are:
| Personal contact with our referral network of local automotive repair facilities. |
| Occasional errands and off-site estimating. |
| Attending trade association meetings. |
Estimator/Job Manager Pay, Hours & Benefits
| The pay rate will be based on your experience level. Please include minimum salary requirements with your resume. |
| Our business hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 5:00pm (working hours are negotiable, overtime may be optional). |
| Paid Employee Health Insurance (choose from PPO, HSA, or HMO) |
